
There’s so much you can do with simple buns: make burgers, make them sweet or make something as interesting as these Korean Cream cheese stuffed buns! These are a very popular Korean recipe, particularly famous as street food. It is very simple to make, yet the flavours are wonderful!
Perfect to please a large gathering.



Here’s what you need:

- 4 Buns
- 1 cup of cream cheese (click to read the recipe)
- ½ cup of fresh cream
- 2 tbsp of honey
- Fresh or dried mixed herbs
- Parsley
- Salt – optional
- Garlic Butter Glaze – made with made with ½ cup of butter, 1 egg, 1 tbsp of crushed garlic, honey
How to make it:
- In a large bowl add in the cream cheese (click here to read how you can make your own homemade cream cheese) and beat it well till it becomes smooth and lump-free. Add the cream and beat to mix both well together.

- To this mixture add the honey, salt and some fresh and dry herbs and mix well together again.
- Your cream cheese filling is ready! You can put it into a piping bag for your convenience.

- Now it’s time to prepare our garlic butter glaze, for which you just need to mix in the butter, egg, honey, and crushed garlic together! Easiest, right?
- Now make some sections in the buns as shown in the image below.


- Fill the cream cheese fillings into the gaps made in the buns.

- Dunk these buns upside down into the garlic butter glaze and place on a parchment paper or a greased baking tray.
- Bake at 180º C for 15 to 20 minutes.

- Your Korean cream cheese stuffed buns are ready! Garnish with some fresh, green herbs and serve hot!
