This pudding can be made quickly and left to set in the fridge while you chit-chat with them. One thing is promised: your guests will love it for sure!

Another quick recipe for such situations is this no bake rose & pistachio dessert!

Here’s what you need:
  • 20 Marie Biscuits (you can use any biscuits you like)
  • 1½ to 2 cups of milk
  • 3 tbsp of cornflour
  • 3 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 3 tbsp of sugar
  • ¼ cup of walnuts
  • 1 tsp of coffee powder
How to make it:
  • The first step calls for making the pudding mix (chocolate custard), for which you need to take a thick bottomed pan and add some milk to it. Do not put it on the heat for now.
  • Next, you need to add some cornflour to the milk and give it a good stir.
  • After which you need to add the cocoa powder and place this pan on the stove at a low-medium flame.
  • Keep stirring continuously so as to make sure to not form any lumps.
  • Just before it comes to a boil, add in the butter and mix.
  • Finally, add in the sugar and continue stirring till it reaches a thick yet flowy consistency (because it will thicken as it cools down).
  • Now onto assembling this dessert. Take one dish in which you want to set and serve your dessert.
  • Mix the coffee powder with some cold water in another bowl.
  • Start soaking the biscuits into the coffee mixture and keep arranging them in your serving dish. Make sure to not dip them for more than 2 seconds or else they will break.
  • Now pour the chocolate pudding mix onto this layer of biscuits till they are completely covered.
  • Repeat a layer of biscuits followed by the pudding mix till you reach the top.
  • Keep in the fridge for at least 3 hours or even better, overnight.
  • Just before you want to serve it, you can give it some finishings. You can sprinkle some cocoa powder on top of it along with a few walnuts.
  • Cut and serve!

This is what you see when you cut into the pudding!
