Jump to Recipe

This cheesy nachos recipe is going to tell you how easy it is to make the particularly newfound version of nachos simply at home!

For the most part, I like to call nachos the new age popcorn! You find it everywhere, be it cinema halls, grocery stores, or just any place where you can find popcorns in the first place. However more recently, nachos have found their popularity at restaurants in a new cheesy avatar, which is a better transformation to its plain old version.

In this article, I am going to teach you how to make these cheesy nachos and later how to make a cheesy mustard dip. Both of these recipes are super simple and require ingredients that are easily available at your home or at your local grocery store. Nachos also taste pretty well with this guacamole dip!

Here’s what you need:

For cheesy nachos:

  • 1 bag of nacho chips
  • ½ to ¾ cup of grated processed cheese
  • 1 tbsp of Mexican seasoning
  • ½ cup of chopped onion
  • ½ cup of chopped capsicum
  • Black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup of chopped tomato
  • ½ cup of olives
  • 1 tsp of mustard sauce or powder (optional)
  • Salt (optional because processed cheese is already quite salty)

For cheesy mustard dip:

  • ½ cup of chopped capsicum
  • ¼ cup of olives
  • ½ cup of chopped tomato
  • ½ tbsp of Mexican seasonings
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp of Mustard sauce or powder
  • Salt (optional because cheese spread is already quite salty)

Cheesy nachos

  • Load it with cheese together with the vegetables.
  • Lastly, top it off with the seasonings.
  • Thereafter, bake at 200º C for 8 minutes or put in the microwave for 2 minutes.
