Strawberry Tiramisu

Jump to Recipe

This Strawberry Tiramisu combines the freshness and vibrance of strawberries and the velvety richness of a Tiramisu perfectly.
Believe me, because I’m a Tiramisu lover as well as a Strawberry lover, so I know.

With a light as air texture that melts in your mouth, this eggless strawberry tiramisu is definitely the perfect dessert that you can serve your guests this summer.

So if you don’t want alcohol or coffee or even eggs in your tiramisu, this one’s for you!

I have used Orange Marie Biscuits here since they taste the best with this dessert. You can use any biscuits you find: digestive biscuits, graham crackers, or even plain marie biscuits!

Here’s what you need:
  • 150 gm of mascarpone
  • 50 gm of sugar
  • 100 ml of whipping cream
  • 70 to 100 gm of strawberry compote or jam – click here to learn how to make homemade strawberry compote
  • 3/4th cup of orange juice
  • 30 Orange Marie biscuits / Graham Crackers / Digestive Biscuits
Optional garnishings:
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Powdered sugar
  • Mint Sprig
  • Fresh flowers
How to make it:
Cream and Cheese Mixture:
  • To make the cream and cheese mixture, we are first going to beat some mascarpone cheese and sugar together till they combine into a smooth mixture.
  • Next, in a different bowl, beat some whipping cream to soft peaks.
  • Fold the whipped cream with the mascarpone-sugar mixture and there is our cream and cheese mixture ready!
Assembling the dessert:
  • Next, pour some orange juice into a shallow bowl. I have used here fresh orange juice but you can use the packed one if you want to. Dip whatever biscuits you’re using into this orange juice and take them out after 2 seconds and lay them at the base of the dish in which you will be serving this tiramisu. You need to take the biscuits out really quickly or they will either break or dunk into the orange juice. Again, as I have mentioned at the starting of the article, orange Marie biscuits work the best for this recipe, but if you can’t find them, you can use any biscuits of your preference.
  • Add a layer of the strawberry compote or jam on the biscuits, well enough to cover the biscuits completely. I have here used my homemade strawberry compote: click here to watch how to make it.
  • Add another layer of the mascrapone-whipped cream mixture and then keep on layering the dessert in a similar way till you reach the top.
  • Time to make it pretty: add a swirl of the strawberry compote with the help of a toothpick on the final layer and decorate with some fresh chopped strawberries, a sprig of mint, and some resh edible flowers. Serve this delicious strawberry tiramisu chilled.
