Serradura or as it is called ‘sawdust pudding’ is a traditional Portuguese dessert is a simple combination of powdered graham crackers or marie biscuits and whipped cream. It looks pretty classy and tastes absolutely divine!

Here’s what you need:

Quantities specified below shall give you 3 generous glasses of the dessert.

  • 20 graham crackers or marie biscuits
  • 1 cup of whipping cream
  • 1 cup of diced mangoes (for mango serradura)
How to make it:
  • To begin with, we need to crush the crackers or biscuits into a fine powder. For this, you can either use your food processor, a rolling pin or just whatever is available to you.
  • The next step is to whip the whipping cream. Once you have soft to stiff peaks your whipped cream is ready!

  • Next, you need to fill a piping bag with the whipped cream. Again, the piping bag is optional. If in case you don’t have a piping bag you can use a spoon to layer the whipped cream.
  • Finally, it’s time to assemble! Take out your most stylish glasses!
