This Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting is what a peanut butter lovers’ dreams are made of! If you know me, you’d know that I love peanuts! I can absolutely put them in anything and everything. But what I love more than peanuts is peanut butter! I mean, who doesn’t love that rich, thick and creamy goodness? That’s why I decided to use my homemade peanut butter (click to read) while baking a chocolate cake, which eventually turned into this beautiful eggless chocolate & peanut butter cake (click to read), but then again, I thought, what’s a cake without frosting? And here we are!

Here’s what you need:
How to make it:
  • Beat them for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • You should be able to get this smooth, creamy consistency.
  • Now, add in the powdered or icing sugar and mix it well with the help of a spoon or spatula. Note: If you use icing sugar, make sure you sift it beforehand to get rid of lumps in which case you may have to use a few extra tbsps of cream; If you are using powdered sugar, try and use a fine powder for that smooth frosting.
  • Here is your creamy peanut butter buttercream frosting ready!
  • Use it to frost your cakes, cupcakes or just anything you fancy!

Peanut Butter Buttercream frosting

Ingredients

  • 100 gm of room temperature butter

  • ½ cup of creamy or chunky peanut butter (click to read the recipe)

  • 2 cups of powdered or icing sugar, sifted

  • 3 to 4 tbsp of thick cream

Directions
