If you like your cookies to be light and airy yet crunchy, these ladyfinger cookies are perfect for you! Now as you might think, aren’t these cookies used to make a tiramisu? Yes, you are right but these easy to make tiramisu biscuits taste pretty good even when eaten on their own!
Even though these cookies are pretty easily available online as well as in some stores, you might want to whip up some of your own since these cookies are so easy and quick to make, and very economical as well!

Here’s what you need:

- 3 eggs
- 100 gm (½ cup) of sugar
- 1 cup of flour
- Vanilla
- ½ cup of icing sugar
How to make it:
- We are going to start by whipping the eggs with an electric beater or a hand whisk.
- Once the eggs start to foam, start adding the powdered sugar in batches. Keep adding more sugar as soon as the first batch gets dissolved. You want to make sure that this mixture becomes very pale, thick and creamy.
- Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.

- Sift in the flour into this and very gently, fold it into the the mixture.

- The traditional ladyfinger cookies are almost 3 to 4 inches in length and 1 inch in width, and to achieve the similar size and shape of the traditional one’s, we are going to take the help of a piping bag.
- Line a baking tray with some parchment paper or a silicon mat. Pour in the mixture into the piping bag. Even if you don’t have a piping bag, you can easily make one using a milk packet or a plastic bag to make it.
- Pipe out the mixture into the baking tray. Try to achieve the size and shape similar to the classic ladyfinger cookies, but don’t fret it even if they don’t pipe out perfectly.

- Sift some icing sugar onto these cookies and place them into the oven at 180º C for 12 to 15 minutes or till they are completely baked. Keep an eye on them so that they don’t get baked more than desired.

- Your fresh, airy-light, crunchy ladyfinger cookies are ready! You can use them to make some tiramisu or even eat them as it is with some coffee or tea!
