Eggless Chocochip Cookies

In The Cookie of Life, Friends Are the Chocolate Chips.” – Salman Rushdie

Yes and who doesn’t like Choco Chip Cookies? Dunk them in a glass of milk in the evening and you are satisfied!! My children love to have it as an after-school snack and honestly it makes my life so easy to just fill up a jar with these ready to hand them and their friends one anytime!!

What You Will Need:

Butter – 100 gms

Sugar – 120 gms

Yogurt or Milk – 4-6 tbsp

Vanilla – 1 tsp

Flour – 170 gms

Chocochips – 100 gms (more or less than that if you prefer)

How To Make It:

Cream butter and sugar.

Add yogurt or milk (whichever of the two you are using) and vanilla and beat well.

Sift in the flour and stir well.

Reserve some chocochips and fold in the rest.

Note the consistency of the mixture. This is right if you want your cookies to be mounded and to retain the shape you give them while placing them on the baking tray.

Drop spoonfuls on a baking sheet apart. Press the reserved chocochips.

Bake at 180 degrees for 15 mins.

Important Note:

If you want your cookies to be flattened out like in the below picture, then you need to add a little more liquid to the batter (in the form of an extra egg or a few tablespoons of milk).

So what are you waiting for? Grab your prettiest apron and a whisk, put on your favorite song and start creating the magic!! Do share your experience of this post and recipe and your views and opinions! I would love to hear them!!
