Bread Pizza 2 Ways

Bread Pizza is a quick snack and an easy breakfast for those lazy mornings as well as hungry evenings. It is one of the best snacks which can be just made with a few ingredients and can easily mimic the taste of a regular pizza without much hassle.

This recipe can be made in the oven as well as on a tawa.

In this article, I am going to teach you how to make it in two different ways.

Here’s what you will need:

  • 4 Bread Slices
  • 6 to 8 tbsp of Pizza Sauce (click to read the recipe) or Tomato Puree or Tomato Ketchup
  • 6 to 8 tbsp of Pizza Cheese or Mozzarella
  • Pizza Seasoning or Dried Oregano
  • Sliced Vegetables for topping

Note: It is recommended that you preheat the oven at 220° C if you intend to make this bread pizza in oven, or if you are going to make this recipe on a tawa, keep it on the stove on a low flame with lid on before you start the preparation.

Recipe 1: Margherita Bread Pizza

  • Apply Pizza Sauce or Tomato Puree or Tomato Ketchup generously on the bread slices. You can also check out my recipe for the Pizza Sauce here.
  • Layer on lots of Pizza Cheese or Mozzarella.
  • Season with Pizza Seasoning or Oregano and it is ready to be baked!
  • Keep it in the oven at 220° C or on the tawa at low heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Keep checking in between.
  • Your Margherita Bread Pizza is ready within minutes!

Recipe 2: Loaded Veggie Bread Pizza

  • Follow the same steps as Step 1 to 3 of Margherita Bread Pizza.
  • Load with whichever vegetable toppings you choose to use. I have added Mushrooms, Onion, Capsicum & Black Olives. Add any more seasonings like Chilli Flakes, Black Pepper Powder if you wish to.
  • Keep it again in the oven at 200° C or on the tawa at a low heat for 5-6 minutes. Keep checking in between. 
  • Your loaded veggie bread pizza is ready! Enjoy it however you like!
